Standard search

To search on a specific Genus name, species name or text, enter your criteria in the relevant fields. You can also search on an import specification but this may retrieve a large list of entries.

If your search returns too many results try using the following search techniques:

1. Use all fields - the species name as well as the genus name

Search results - too few / zero results
If your search doesn't result in any records, try using the following search techniques:

1. Use one of the search fields, not all of them
2. Try entering part of a word, ie 'Abel' instead of 'Abelia' in the Genus field
3. Check the spelling is correct
